Got a question for you.
What did you do yesterday to treat yourself well?
What about the hopeful thoughts you wrote about yesterday. Can you recall them? How did they make you feel now?
Describe any situations that may have come up that made you feel bad about yourself or angry at someone else.
How did you handle it?
Examine the quotes below:
“Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.”
“Forgiveness is not an occasional act, it is a constant attitude.” - the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“There is no revenge so complete as forgiveness.” -Josh Billings
“If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other." -Galatians 5:15
“People have to forgive. We don't have to like them, we don't have to be friends with them, we don't have to send them hearts in text messages, but we have to forgive them, to overlook, to forget. Because if we don't, we are tying rocks to our feet, too much for our wings to carry!” -C. JoyBell
Describe how any of them may relate to the situation you described in Step 3.
If you could have a 'do over' about the incident you described above, then how would you do it as a person who has more confidence in their innate value?
If nothing happened yesterday, then describe a recent event that you'd like to do over and have a better outcome, knowing more about yourself than you did then.
Take a few minutes to remind yourself about every good thing you like about you or that others have said they like about you.
Write them out below.
Now think about this. When you truly understand what's good about you, you don't need to prove it to others.
It happens naturally IF you put yourself in the company of people who are on the same track.
Who's in your circle of friends and on the same path as you?
How willing are you to reach out to one of those people today?
You could also post to one of your JP Camps and see how they're handling things.
Just a thought.
See you tomorrow.
