Summary: Meeting outline for meeting with our Commander in Chief.

Step 1

ASSIGNING OF DUTIES (by the leader):

a) Opening Prayer.
b) Reading of the Mission.
c) Reading of the Bible verses.
d) Reading of the Rules Of Engagement.
e) Leading of the AAR, Assignment, Theme and Intercession.

Note: the leader logs meeting notes

Step 2

OPENING PRAYER:

Invite the Holy Spirit to guide and instruct as our Lord of Heaven's Armies and our Commander in Chief.

Praise and thank Him!

Step 3

MISSION:

To identify, train and organize an army of disciples of Christ.

Step 4

READING THE WORD:

Each member is given the opportunity to read a Bible passage chosen by them.

Members can record the passage in the log.

Step 5

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:

a) Seek God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
b) Know He is your God.
c) There is no failure except the failure of not trying.
d) Hope is not an option. All tasks are mission critical. Instruction is key.
e) You move in God's authority. All tasks and assignments are victories.
f) Get over yourselves. If something doesn't seem that it is of God, while directed under this time of covering, then know it is of God all the more so.
g) Do not question each other when hearing in this room. Allow God to question you. All are of equal rank and merit.
h) Move slowly and deliberately when carrying out a mission. Go over it time and time again.
i) Watch out for tricks of the enemy for they will surely come. Cover each others backs. Job one is to bring each other out alive.
j) Live large and long in this covering over your lives. Go in God's strength, will and purpose.

Step 6

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT/COURAGEOUS ACTION:

Enter this week's assignment in the space provided:

Step 7

AFTER ACTION REVIEW:

Note: AARs are battlefield reports (short and to the point)

Regarding this week's assignment, each member reports:

a) What was supposed to happen?
b) What did happen?
c) What is sustainable?
d) In all honesty, on a 1-to-10 scale, how much courage and/or fortitude did you put into your assignment this week? (1 is none; 5 is a half-effort; 10 means it took all you had to give)

Note: generally, if a member self-evaluates at 6 or below, their assignment is automatically repeated, and they skip Step 7. The leader has discretion about this, however.

Step 8

NEW ASSIGNMENT/COURAGEOUS ACTION:

WHAT IS GOD DOING AND WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT IT?

a) Each member answers the above question.
b) If a member is aware of an action God asked them to do, but they have not yet completed it, then that action is their assignment for this week.
b) Each member can ask for prayers of revelation, guidance and instruction from the Holy Spirit.
c) Based on the answer(s), each member forms his assignment.

Notes:
1.No counseling is allowed during the meeting.
2. Regarding revelation from each member: keep in mind that we all 'hear in part'. Each member needs to confirm what has been heard for himself. History has shown that God often works by giving some parts to each attendee (to form a 'mosaic' of revelation)

The leader writes each member's assignment in the log. Members can also log their assignments.

Step 9

THEME:

What is God saying to us as a Platoon (how are the assignments linked)?

Discuss and record on the space provided.

Step 10

INTERCESSION (TARGET SHOOTING):

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what he wants us to intercede over. Pray together as a Platoon. Battle for others!
