Summary: Making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Step 1

For a good look at your identity and job in the Kingdom of God, watch the 'VIDEO' by Eric Ludy.

Select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 2

Take a moment to ask God what He wants you to understand or receive from this video.

If you do not hear or sense God, write down what comes to your mind.

Step 3

From the work you have completed in previously, write down what you believe to be your identity in the Kingdom of God.

Step 4

How well are you living up to that identity?

Step 5

If you chose 'Excellent' proceed to the next Step.

If you did not choose 'Excellent', then write down your reasons for not doing your job to the best of your ability. Be specific.

Step 6

Go to 'DOCUMENTS' and read Matthew 4.

Select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 7

In Matthew 4 we see the devil trying to lure Jesus away from doing his job with the same temptations being used against you today!

Turn these rocks into the food you want = 'You are what you have'.

Jump from the highest point and not get hurt ='You are what you do'.

Having the glory of all the kingdoms of the world = 'You are what other people think of you'.

As it applies to maintaining your Kingdom identity and doing your Kingdom job with excellence, what can you learn from Matthew 4?

Step 8

In general, how strongly do you agree with the following statements:

"I go to the false idol of 'I am what I have' to gain the comfort, security, freedom, influence and power I have always dreamed of having."

"I go to the false idol of 'I am what I do' for the sense of purpose, meaning and feeling of significance that is missing from my life."

"I go to the false idol of 'I am what other people think of me' for the deep desire I have to be loved, approved of, accepted, validated, recognized and valued."

Step 9

Read the following Bible verses:

"For because of your trust in your own achievements and treasures, even you yourself will be captured." (Jeremiah 48:7)

"The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands. They have mouths, but do not speak; they have eyes, but do not see; they have ears, but do not hear, nor is there any breath in their mouths. Those who make them become like them, so do all who trust in them!" (Psalm 135:15-18)

"I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me." (Isaiah 45:5)

'And I will destroy those who used to worship me but now no longer do. They no longer ask for the LORD's guidance or seek my blessings' (Zephaniah 1:6).

Meditate on these verses. Allow them to penetrate, then select 'Successful' when you are finished.

Step 10

Having taken your core needs and desires to the false idols rather than The Lord your God, would you like to take a moment to come before The Lord in repentance?

If 'Yes', do so privately or you can use the space provided.

Step 11

Ask yourself the following question:

"If I was living fully in my identity in the Kingdom of God (if I was doing my job with excellence), what would I DO?"

When the answer comes to you, write it down in the space provided.

Step 12

Now go DO it.

Write down the specific time and date you will have it completed by.

Step 13

Take time now to praise The Lord for restoring you back to your rightful job in His Kingdom!

Step 14

(Optional) In the video, we see Jesus commissioning us to go out and make disciples. In order to succeed, He tells us that it is absolutely critical that we work in His strength, not our own.

For further assistance with this critical instruction, go to 'RELATED' and, if you have not already done so, schedule: 'Your Right Job Right Now (Christian Edition)'.
